๐ Core Metrics Deep Dive
For every prompt across every model, AICarma analyzes the AI's response across four dimensions. Each metric includes a confidence score so you know exactly how reliable each data point is.
Visibility
Is your brand mentioned at all?
Sentiment
How positively are you described?
Position
Where do you rank in lists?
Sources
Which web pages does AI trust?
Visibility Score
Measures whether and how prominently your brand appears in the AI's response. A brand that's mentioned first and discussed in detail scores higher than one briefly listed at the end.
Sentiment Score (0โ100)
Quantifies the tone of what the AI says about you on a scale from 0 (very negative) to 100 (very positive). Each score comes with a confidence level โ so a score of 78 with 0.95 confidence means the analysis is highly certain, while a score of 78 with 0.4 confidence suggests the response was ambiguous.
Position Ranking
When AI models generate ranked lists (e.g., "Top 5 project management tools"), AICarma captures your exact position. Position tracking also includes confidence scoring โ some responses clearly rank items while others are more ambiguous.
Sources โ The Actionable Layer
Visibility, Sentiment, and Position tell you where you stand. Sources tell you why and what to do about it.
When AI models reference web pages in their responses, AICarma captures every cited URL. This transforms a number like "Visibility: 66%" into a concrete action plan: you can see exactly which pages AI trusts, which competitor content is getting cited, and which gaps in your content strategy are costing you visibility.
Why Sources Change Everything
Without sources, you know your score. With sources, you know why it's that score โ and exactly which content to create, update, or promote to improve it. Learn more about Source Tracking โ
